In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, many new medical technologies and treatments are rapidly being produced.
However, there is real potential for these medicines to be monopolised by richer nations. We believe that everyone - particularly vulnerable communities - should be able to access protective vaccines and any treatment they may need.
Affiliates of the Missing Medicines Coalition have joined to advocate for the Covid-19 Technology Access Pool (C-TAP).This is a global initiative encouraging the sharing of knowledge, science, and technologies so that we can not only move faster together to control the pandemic but also work towards ensuring access to essential medicines for all.
