A campaign led by young activists and supported by the Children’s Society
We are the Youth-Led Commission on Separated Children (YLCSC), a group of young campaigners calling on the government to provide guardians to all unaccompanied and separated children in England and Wales.
Currently the scheme is only available in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
As a group, we have all experienced unimaginable situations like fleeing our home countries, losing our families and having to make life-changing decisions about our future.
We know first-hand how difficult it is to go through this without someone acting in our best interests so we are campaigning for a change we know will make a huge difference to the lives of all unaccompanied children.
