Photos from Friday 11th December.
Lists are boring so I don’t even bother to count the numbers of birds up. We always concentrate on quality views but this time we had quantity too. Counting the ‘common’ birds we must have seen and noted almost 60 species. The total of birds seen must have been more than 600.
Including the elegant Hoopoe.
Our star bird of the day must be the Spotted Redshank. Our first sighting in 2020.
Greenfinch es are always great to see.
Skylarks were plentiful and Bryan managed to get this one on camera.
Another winter visitor, the Bluethroat.
