INJUSTICE ADVENT CALENDAR DAY 11

Day 11 - Become a microvolunteer and take small actions to give a big voice to animals!

This type of volunteering is perfect for busy bees who are compassionate, care deeply about animals' lives, and want to make a difference but don’t have much time to give.

You have complete control over when the actions are done - daytime, nighttime, anytime that suits you. Even the smallest actions, when done by a community of like-minded people, can make a big positive difference to the welfare of animals.

In the past, RSPCA’s amazing microvolunteers have helped to:

  • Lobby supermarkets to sign up to the Better Chicken Commitment, encouraging the big players to improve chicken welfare across the UK and Europe.
  • Persuade councils to take action to #EndSkyLitter, for wildlife and the environment
  • Encourage local MPs to back the ban of third-party puppy sales in law, known as Lucy’s Law.

RSPCA’s volunteer support team will invite you to help when we have new activities you can get involved in. You’ll get three or four microvolunteering activities a month, and tasks generally won’t take more than 5 minutes to complete. We’ll keep you up to date with progress so you can see the results of your actions.

You’ll also have access to our online volunteering community Assemble where you can keep up-to-date with our latest news and campaigns, and get involved in other national or local volunteering opportunities.

So whether you’re wild for wildlife, fanatical about farm animals, dotty for dogs, or crazy about cats, become an RSPCA microvolunteer and join thousands of volunteers already changing animals' lives for the better!
