The website openDemocracy.net has featured our work - click here - and done some very useful digging of their own, and a short version of their article appeared in The Times last week with photos of Lord Benyon and his little country cottage where he, errrr, shoots Pheasants.
Northern England Raptor Forum: Wild Justice supported this conference in Barnsley in late November - combatting wildlife crime is an issue very close to our hearts. There were some great formal talks and much useful discussion in the breaks. Our Ruth Tingay gave the closing talk of the conference, about progress in Scotland in regulating grouse shooting.
River Action: we have, as it were, over the last three years, dipped our toes in the water over river pollution on the Wye - click here - and more generally on sewage discharges - click here. In a way, we started some investigations and challenges that others have picked up. We can't do everything, and don't want to, so we were happy to donate some unused funds from our work in this area to River Action for their work.
