ROB POWNALL SEP 24 READ IN APP We have just launched the 5th edition of our Protect the Wild British Wildlife Calendar and once again it is packed with absolutely breathtaking photographs from our incredible supporters. One of the highlights of my year is sorting through the entries. It is such a privilege and honestly one of the best parts of my job to see so many remarkable images of Britain’s wildlife, from foxes and badgers to owls and deer, all captured with such care and creativity. I am especially delighted that 15 year old wildlife photographer Shelby Grant has kindly allowed us to feature his stunning badger photo on this year’s front cover. It is a powerful reminder that the next generation is as passionate about protecting wildlife as we are !! :) But it is not just the cover that makes this calendar special. Every month is filled with brilliant images that celebrate the beauty and diversity of British wildlife. Importantly, the calendar is also one of the biggest sources of income for Protect the Wild, helping us to continue our vital work fighting wildlife persecution, supporting investigations, and pushing for stronger protections for animals. Every copy sold makes a real difference to the campaigns we can run and the change we can achieve. I’d love you to pick up a copy, we’ve priced them at £7.95 to try and make them as affordable as possible whilst also turning a good profit to fund the ongoing fight for British wildlife. Whether it’ll be your 1st time getting one or indeed your fifth, we really do appreciate it! Let’s see how many we can ship out to wildlife lovers across the country!
