When I learnt this I was genuinely blown away - marine life really is incredible! And the fascinating facts don't stop there. The cuttlefish has two feeding tentacles (and eight arms) which they shoot out to catch their prey - they've even been known to eat smaller cuttlefish. Cuttlefish lay their eggs in seagrass to give their young a safe place to begin life. It's one of the reason's we're planting 10,000m² of seagrass in the next three years, and protecting 2,400m² of existing seagrass meadows with eco-friendly moorings by 2030. You can be a part of this epic story of seagrass restoration, John. With a little donation from you, we can achieve a lot. Will you chip in? Yes, I'll donate £10 > Favourite fact: during spring and summer, the male cuttlefish will engage in spectacular displays of colour to attract females, passing pulses of colour rapidly along their body - like a disco ball in the ocean! Have a wonderful day. Staff member Amy is smiling at the camera wearing a light pink jumper.
