Birdsong carries through the trees. You’re standing in temperate rainforest. Once common in Cornwall, this habitat is now incredibly rare. Yet thanks to a remarkable gift in a supporter’s Will, there is hope. West Muchlarnick Farm was left to Cornwall Wildlife Trust with a simple wish: that it would benefit wildlife. Today, it’s the heart of our 50-year Temperate Rainforest Project, restoring much of the land to this rare and beautiful habitat.
