MY OWN THOUGHTS
My blogs — most of which I copy and paste — are what I believe in and I have a visceral hatred of what is occurring in my countryside. I was born in the ‘best’ hunting county and have grown through all of that within the passage of my lifetime.
I have produced a book of poetry and short stories — co-existence — based upon the abuse and destruction of our wildlife led by a privileged few. Someone said a month or so ago what is the point in writing another love poem when there are ongoing wars where people are oppressed, maimed and killed. All abhorrent to me and so is the conflict that exists with fox hunting, trapping, poisoning and even culling.
That is why I have written in the manner that I have. I have tried to remain as poetic as possible but the words have to be said.
I applaud all of those that oppose the privileged few and their lies.
