PHOTOS FROM SALADARES DEL GUADALENTIN

A vista of Saladares del Guadalentin

It’s vast but you won’t get lost in it

Fields of whatever - peppers, artichokes

with workers in Harry Potter cloaks

Supermarkets dictate the price of food

and the workers slave on and get screwed

This vantage point is on the far side of Rio

Guadalentin. There is a good view across the plain

and up along the river. It must be a good place

on migration and for summer visitors. Diary noted.

SANDGROUSE - Black Bellied

Four feeding in their habitat

Then a single one

Golden Eagle - a sub-adult

Wintering Meadow Pipit

Zitting  Cisticola.

What a star!
