As we look back on the first half of the year and think about how much we achieved for wildlife it gives me great optimism that we can use the second half of the year to do even more! Some of our work so far this year:  Released three powerful animations on the badger cull to support our calls for Labour to uphold their promise and end the slaughter of badgers if they get into power. So far these animations have been viewed hundreds of thousands of times. Gave donations/equipment to Hull Wildlife Protectors, Derby Hunt Sabs, Cotswold Monitors, Cotswold Hunt Sabs, Teesside Anti Blood Sports, North East Hunt Monitors, Shropshire Wildlife Monitors, Wirral Fox Rescue and Two Counties Hunt Sabs.  2.3 million people viewed our hard-hitting animation exposing hare coursing as we pushed for better legislation to protect wildlife  Helped Derby Hunt Sabs cancel the Barlow Hunt's Ball  Exposed The Newt in Somerset for hosting the BSV Hunt, resulting in 25,000+ leaflets distributed throughout Somerset and beyond - with a demo outside the Chelsea Flower Show educating tens of thousands about the realities of illegal fox hunting  Donate £1 to our July fundraiser £1 fundraising day to kick off the month! Earlier this year we decided that on the first day of the month we will be asking as many of you as possible to chip in a pound to help us continue our vital work. So far this year we have raised over £7,500 from this fundraising initiative! If every person opening this email was to donate £1, our July fundraising target of £2,500 could be achieved in just a few hours! In the second half of 2024 we will: Release more animations exposing everything from grouse shooting to the reality behind the Boxing Day hunt parades Produce our annual report on hunting Continue daily journalism to keep the public informed on key issues Push our campaign for a proper ban on hunting even harder  Give even more equipment and grants to activists in the field  Support more animal rescues across the UK Launch new campaigns against hunt-supporting landowners and businesses Produce even more content for 'Protectors of the Wild' - a groundbreaking resource helping members of the public to recognise, record and report wildlife crime  Educate literally millions of people across the UK about issues affecting wildlife  Build our national support network to better assist those taking direct action protecting wildlife Release our new searchable database showing every business across the UK that has links to hunting/shooting We can only continue to do this vital work with your support.
