View in browser Dear John, I wouldn’t tackle a hike without a map. Fail to plan, plan to fail – that's a motto I live by. So why are we trying to tackle the climate crisis without a proper plan? In 2024, for the first time ever, the planet’s average temperature was more than 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels. A global limit world leaders vowed not to exceed. That’s why this year is critical in our fight against climate breakdown. The UK government must show climate leadership now. With a proper plan, there’s hope. After Friends of the Earth won twice in court, the UK government is legally required to deliver a new and improved climate plan later this year. We need a bold climate plan that delivers cleaner air, lower energy bills, warm homes. And a fairer, healthier planet for thriving communities now and for future generations. But this will only happen if we pressure the government. We need to build a groundswell of people calling for a Big Climate Plan. So please watch and share to get the word out.
