FROM PROTECT THE WILD — THIS IS WHAT THEY HAVE ACHIEVED

A look back at our work this month

This month, we launched our new campaign, Rehome the Hounds, and sat down with Lily and her two beloved foxhounds, Maggie and Negan, to dismantle the myth that these incredible animals 'can’t be rehomed.' We supplied essential new equipment to three outstanding wildlife protection groups, received support from major celebrities—including Judi Dench, Ricky Gervais, and Sir Mark Rylance—calling for a proper ban on hunting, and achieved over 1 million views on our latest animation.

Rehome the Hounds!

For years, the pro-hunting lobby has argued that if hunting is banned, they will be forced to put down their hounds.

The same people who claim to love these animals are now using them as pawns in a desperate attempt to protect their pastime.

This is why Protect the Wild has launched the Rehome the Hounds campaign to dismantle the myth that foxhounds cannot thrive in domestic environments.

Even more equipment and support for those in the field!
In October, thanks to the generosity of our incredible supporters, we provided a new 4K camcorder to Cheshire Borderland Monitors, radios, cameras, and vehicle repairs for South Norfolk Hunt Saboteurs, as well as drone batteries and a bodycam to Locals Against the BSV. Your contributions to our equipment fund make all this possible—thank you!
