These days are absolutely vital in keeping Protect the Wild moving forward. We do not take corporate money or rely on big grants. Instead, we depend on small contributions from our incredible supporters to keep the fight for British wildlife alive. Every pound really does keep the cogs turning. Donate to Protect the Wild And there has been a lot to fund recently. Just last month we: Sent out 1 million leaflets to over 1,500 supporters across England and Wales to be hand-delivered to households, spreading the word about ending hunting for good. A huge thank you to everyone currently out there distributing them! You are amazing!! Prepared for the upcoming Parliamentary debate on the future of the Badger Cull after our petition reached 100,000 signatures, making sure an anti-cull voice is heard loud and clear. Expanded our Protect the Mind initiative, providing free mental health support to animal activists. Bought a new drone for the brilliant Helmsley Monitors, strengthening their frontline work. I personally walked for 24 hours straight around Parliament as a symbolic reminder that we will never stop fighting for animals while this government continues to do nothing. In other news, Protect the Wild sponsored and attended the inaugural Pigeon Advocacy Conference in Stoke and my colleague Charlotte is currently in Cyprus taking on illegal bird killers! Behind the scenes, we have also been working on something huge that will be released in the coming weeks, with the potential to change the fight against bloodsports in this country. All of this comes alongside over 10 million views of our content across social media in the last month alone. These fundraising drives have the potential to raise thousands when all of us come together and chip in small amounts. In May we raised just over £3000 from an email just like this one thanks to the generosity of Protect the Wild supporters! It all adds up!
