Dear John
Become a Plantlife member and receive a FREE Plantlife Calendar as a welcome gift. Here at Plantlife we are working to secure a plant-rich world. We are the only UK membership charity dedicated to conserving wild plants and fungi in their natural habitats and helping people to enjoy and learn about them. In 2024 we... - brought Rosy Saxifrage back from Extinction in the Wild (pictured above)
- expanded our Ryewater Farm nature reserve
- led the first ever conservation attempt for One-flowered Wintergreen
- represented wild plants and fungi on the UK and Global stage
- called for a ban on the use of peat in gardening and horticulture.
We couldn't have done this without our members and supporters. And there's more exciting and innovative conservation work to come - from improving our newly acquired land in Dorset to advising landowners in our temperate rainforests to carrying out a comprehensive survey of Tufted Saxifrage - one of our most threatened mountain plants. We will also continue to create and restore wildflower meadows and lead the recovery of our threatened wild plants and fungi. 2024 was an incredible year, let's see what we can achieve together in 2025... |
