This post came through yesterday from Herefordshire Sabs & West Midland Sabs.
“At the end of last season, one of our sabs made a statement to West Mercia Police regarding a fox kill at the Radnor and West Hereford Hunt. Neither of the officers present were from the West Mercia Wildlife Crime team. Instead we were told they were being advised by a neighbouring force who were "expert" in dealing with illegal fox hunting. Imagine our surprise when we were told they meant Warwickshire Police.”
“It's disgraceful that Warwickshire Police, now being investigated for their handling of illegal fox hunting, were considered suitable to advise a neighbouring force.
As an independent review was announced yesterday into Warwickshire Police handling of fox-hunting, the PRO HUNT CC DEBBIE TEDDS has just announced she is RETIRING”
And today the SABS are out monitoring the Teme Valley. So much going on!
