GET TALKING - MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD TO PROTECT WILDLIFE

IT IS THE LONG RUN IN TO THE NEXT GENERAL ELECTION - SO DO THE TALKING AND SPEAK TO THE CONSTITUENCY CANDIDATES

I have elicited some thoughts from the last newsletter from the Cornwall Wildlife Trust and follows on conveniently from the conversation and points made by Protect the Wild in their last post. Comments were about those people in authority who have the power to decide. In previous posts DEFRA have two members of the upper chamber in their midst. Both landowners that may have interest in game shooting.

I think all aspects of wildlife should be outside the political spectrum but that would be naive and I can only hope. I am sure there are wildlife supporters who dislike the present government and some will still vote for it. As the trust indicates the run up to an election gives activists and voters opportunity and time to persuade their candidates that wildlife does matter for all of us and not the selected few.
